I'm Ezgi — an execution partner for design-driven teams
My career has lived at the intersection of three things: operational structure, creative sensitivity, and communication. That combination is rarer than it sounds, and it shapes how I work.
Background
I started in growth marketing and business development, which gave me a commercial frame — understanding projects in terms of business impact, not just delivery milestones.
From there, I moved into project management inside digital agencies and startups, where my role almost always expanded beyond the job title. Small teams, ambiguous mandates, fast-moving projects. I became the person who turns unclear intentions into actual deliverables — coordinating designers, developers, clients, and stakeholders across time zones and disciplines.
I also spent over a decade as a certified English-Turkish translator. Translation trained me to think carefully about meaning, tone, and intent — not just words. That skill shows up constantly in how I bridge communication between different teams and stakeholders.
My academic background includes a Master's degree in Fashion Management from NABA Domus Academy in Milan and a dual-diploma BBA from SUNY New Paltz. Living and working internationally shaped my thinking; I'm most comfortable in multicultural, intellectually curious environments.
What makes my work different
The gap between strategy and execution isn't always a planning problem — it's a communication and clarity problem. Teams misunderstand each other. Priorities blur. Decisions don't translate into action. I step into that gap.
I understand enough about creative work to earn trust with designers. I understand enough about technical work to talk clearly with developers. And I understand enough about business to keep everything tied to what actually matters.
Most project managers manage tasks. I manage meaning and alignment.
The creative side
Alongside operations work, I have a genuine interest in aesthetics — typography, illustration, branding, visual culture. I'm currently developing illustration as both a personal practice and a potential professional skill. I'm also working on a satirical podcast project exploring ego, culture, and everyday absurdities.
